I hate that I’m already 120 pages into my re-read of DT7 because, honestly, I am terrified of the journey coming to an end.
Actually kind of glad Chelsea won the Champions League. I didn’t know who I wanted to take the trophy until Drogba scored that final penalty and then I had full-on chills and knew the right team had won.
Mostly I’m glad for Di Matteo, he has to get the full-time manager job now, but I’m happy for Torres and Lampard too. That’s probably it, actually (though I’m happy for my friends - and family - who support Chelsea), but it’s nice to see tears of joy.
The final’s at Wembley next season - here’s hoping it’s Arsenal who lift the trophy then. I don’t think West Ham or Reading will do it anytime soon, bless them, but I’d love to see my Nick’s team get the recognition they deserve!
We are Premier League, say we are Premier League!
Ecstatic that West Ham are back in the Premiership alongside Reading who went up as winners of the Championship this year. After last year’s double heartbreak it’s nice to see my Berkshire and London boys back in the best league in the world!
I do feel a bit bad for Blackpool, they fought really hard, but I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Ian Holloway’s boys in the Premiership either. :)
Re-read of DT5 = done. Next = DT6. Have I mentioned how much I am loving rediscovering Roland’s world yet? Big-big, say true!
Mum found this in her paper today and saved it for me, it was waiting in my room when I got home. I will call him Squishy and he will be my squishy!
The concoction I have been taking almost every four hours this bank holiday weekend just to try and feel normal. Lame.
